Connections Nr. 3

I made this work to capture the quiet tenderness of a new idea; that moment it is still fragile, still forming, and needs to be held.

 

The hand-shaped ceramic is the cradle, the shelter. Within it, a core of vibrant yellow holds the raw potential, the initial glow. From this containment, a spiral of transparent Plexiglas rises, the moment the idea takes flight.

 

It is a sculpture that holds a single, quiet drama: the journey from fragile potential to unrestrained flight.
