There are moments in the studio when an idea emerges not gradually, but all at once. A sudden flash. A spark. Lighting Events was born from a desire to give form to that exact instant: the electric charge that transforms thought into matter.
In this series, each work is composed of contrasting elements. The painted ceramic and canvas surfaces represent the core of the idea its emotional weight, its memory, its permanence. These are the parts of us that are shaped by time and lived experience. In contrast, the Plexiglas is movement, breath, light. It is the fleeting moment of inspiration made visible the intangible force that surrounds, reveals, and activates the work.
I see these works as the meeting point between what we carry inside and what we release into the world. Each one is a small, luminous event a thought in motion, a moment of inner ignition captured in physical space.
They are not just objects, but thresholds: invitations to pause, reflect, and witness the birth of an idea in real time.
