Lighting events

2019–2023

Lighting Events captures the precise moment when form asserts itself through tension and illumination. Abrupt material shifts and high-contrast passages mark the transition from undifferentiated field to articulated event.

Positioned between painting and sculptural object, the series examines light not as representation but as the condition of emergence itself. These works represent a pivotal development in Alunni’s research, bridging earlier spatial experiments with the entropic processes that define her current practice.
