Entropy

2025–Present

Entropy is an ongoing investigation into the poetics of collapse and regeneration. Through controlled erosion, chemical reactions and manual interventions on unstable supports — raw canvas, copper plates, fragile surfaces — the works allow matter itself to become an active co-author. Layers are built up and then deliberately destabilised: gold leaf cracks and lifts, pigments migrate, surfaces bend and fracture. What appears as rupture is a generative process, revealing hidden structures and new visual memories. Vulnerability becomes method; collapse, form.
