Entropy
2025–Present
Entropy is an ongoing investigation into the poetics of collapse and regeneration. By employing controlled erosion, chemical reactions, and manual interventions on unstable supports such as raw canvas, copper sheets, and fragile surfaces, the works allow matter itself to become an active co-author. Layers are built and then deliberately destabilized: gold leaf cracks and lifts, pigments migrate, surfaces fold and fracture. What appears as disruption is in fact a generative process that reveals hidden structures and new visual memories. In the context of the ecological and existential fragility of our time, Entropy proposes vulnerability not as weakness but as a radical aesthetic and ethical stance.
