Echoes of an Inner Atlas

I’ve always seen memory as a landscape. It's not a flat photograph, but a place with depth, texture, and layers that shift and settle over time.

Echoes of an Inner Atlas is my exploration of that inner world. This series comes from a very personal place, from reflecting on how our experiences build upon one another to make us who we are.

My technique mirrors this idea completely. I work with tactile materials, adding and subtracting, creating a history within the canvas itself. A flash of a buried color might feel like a distant memory surfacing, while a heavily textured area can represent a feeling that’s immediate and raw.

The finished piece is a visual record of this inner dialogue. I created these works for a thoughtful viewer, someone who understands that some stories aren't told with words, but are felt through the quiet exchange between themselves and a work of art.
