This work was born from a moment of sacred clarity in the Umbrian countryside. I remember standing outside my studio after a storm as the sky turned an impossible blue. A flock of birds rose against the setting sun, their wings tracing a perfect, calligraphic form in the burning orange light.

That image struck me like a revelation. I didn’t want to depict the scene; I wanted to hold its afterimage, its emotional echo.

The geometric blue shapes are fragments of that infinite sky. The fiery orange disc is the sun, suspended at the heart of the moment. And the light passing through the Plexiglas is my attempt to sculpt the memory of that illumination. It is the trail left by a fleeting glimpse of paradise.
