Laura Alunni is a contemporary abstract artist based in Perugia, Italy, with over four decades of artistic research. Her work investigates the invisible forces that shape reality — entropy, collapse, transformation — through a visual language that is at once rigorous and deeply poetic.

At the core of her current practice is Entropy (2025 – ongoing), a series that translates the scientific concept of disorder into painting. Each work captures a moment of transition: the fragile boundary between structure and dissolution, between what persists and what fades. The canvases evoke geological strata, luminous atmospheres, and layered time — inner landscapes that resist easy interpretation yet communicate immediately on an emotional level.

Laura's artistic journey began in the early 1980s and has unfolded across personal exhibitions held in prestigious institutional spaces, including Palazzo del Capitano and Antognolla Castle. Her archive (2016–2023) documents an extended meditation on light, memory, and spatial abstraction.

What distinguishes Laura Alunni's practice is the coherence between concept and material: every gesture on the canvas responds to a rigorous internal logic, informed by a philosophical understanding of how systems — natural, emotional, social — evolve toward entropy.

Her work has been presented in both Italian and international contexts, reflecting a commitment to dialogue with a global contemporary art audience.
